Its partially true..there are parks where its difficult to see tigers. In some there are no tigers left.According to me there are max. 2 or 3 parks where the situation has. worsened otherwise one can easily sight tigers in National Parks. Ranthambhore and Jim Corbett are the most popular for there tigers. Machali a 12 year old tiger at Ranthambhore had got Lifetime Achievement Award for fitting fit. TOFT estimated that Machali contributed about US $ 10 million per annum for the last 10 years to the local economy in Ranthambhore.
It seems to me, That if Machali the tiger, could bring in $10 mill a year to that local economy, other local economies would realize that poaching them is chump change.

Beautiful tiger in snow. I have been reading articles on tigers plight. Signing petitions is a step forward to save them. We are their voices:)

i am saddened to see this signing petitions all the time but tigers need a safe place to live

interesting reading  ... !   thanks for sharing

It takes people that live around the tigers to care, that's the only realistic way they will be saved.

Right on Cat!!!
