Tigers Gizmo and Obi arrived at Top Of The Rock Wildlife Sanctuary on September 13, 2011. They came from a sanctuary in San Antonio, TX that has closed. We have welcomed them both, into our sanctuary and into our hearts.

This is a short video of excerpts of Gizmo enjoying his first time in the big playground. Gizmo loves the thick grass, laying in the water, annoying dogs and playing while his enclosure is being cleaned.

Top Of The Rock is a No Buy, No Sell, No Breed, No Exhibit sanctuary. If you would like to assist in the care of the wildlife, at NWHS' Top Of The Rock Sanctuary: http://www.humanewildlife.org/support.html

These two recent additions, came from a sanctuary that went bankrupt. They were the last two, out of 78 that needed placement. It took over a year to place all the big cats. No one had picked them, so we took them. We had empty enclosures, and also have that big playground, so they will do well here. :)

They could never go back to the wild, but we are very remote, and they are surrounded by deep mountain forest.

I make and sign petitions to protect wildlife and their habitats. I believe they should be free. I am so angry of people who want to own these animals. So selfish. I am thankful for sanctuaries to save wildlife from these horrible dire situations, where they would have no other place to go, At least at a sanctuary they are better off than they were before.

Last day in the pool for the year because winter is upon us., unless we get a nice warm spell. They will still enjoy the playground, and I'll get photos of them playing in the snow.

I am so happy to see pics of Gizmo and Obi. Can hardly wait to see more. Thanks Catman.

Thought I would drop by to watch Gizmo playing, and having a blast in the water tub. Re-visited Obi's to watch also.

I posted this on my FB page yesterday LOL. It's a somewhat long video, but I like it :D

Giz is my buddy. He's such a sweet dispositioned tiger. Likes to kiss me on the lips through the chainlink. (quite spoiled)

That's so cool, Patrick. So worth watching. Spoiled and loved very much. Great to get kisses from Giz.
