Cheetah cubs are the cutest things ever, <3

Very calm day today, the water is like glass. Had a light shower for about 15 minutes, then it went away.

Cool momma bear and cubs Gayle. I saw where Ning took their $25 from the NWHS bank account yesterday. I must have it set up direct and not on a credit card. So, I guess our wildlife social media site will continue on.

I had a great time yesterday, watching the release of 4 sea turtles that Marathon Turtle Hospital rescued and rehabbed. I have it on my FB page, along with a video from their page They do great work.

I also uploaded the turtle video I made to my FB page, but no one sees it seems. Or, no interest, lol. The one here is at Vimeo and will be part of an article on tomorrow's newsletter. Just trying to get these fine folks in the spotlight. Saving sea turtles is very important, as many of them are critically endangered. The ones they released were green sea turtles, which are a threatened species, but go endangered if losses continue.

I think they are so cool, they look so chill. The ones being released were getting increasingly excited, while in their tubs. Their flippers were slapping more and more as they smelled and heard the ocean so close. They knew freedom was at hand (or, flipper?) lol One of them was missing a back flipper, which had to be removed to save her. It had been wrapped tightly in fishing line and could not be saved. They were certain that it could survive with just one back flipper (the front ones do more work)

We want to tour the place, sometime soon
