Good afternoon friends. So sorry to hear about your storms. Decent weather here, but has been quite chilly, especially at night. We will need to be moving from this marina soon, but no decent weather windows in sight. Blustery winds with rough seas (it's March).

Good afternoon friends. So sorry about your storms and losing internet. :(

Cute foxes and cool mooses. The calf is a cutey.

I have the steering working about as well as I can get it for now. The rudder stull gets in a bind when pushed all the way to port, so I will avoid pushing it that hard on a left turn. I got the fluid leak under control (I hope).

If I can get to Marathon Key before April 15th, there's a very nice slip at a good price, for  month. The Florida Keys are amazing and having a month there would be awesome. It has everything (Marlin Bay Resort). Pool, hot tub, great clubhouse and lots of things to do. I linked to it on my FB page if you want to check it out.

So, we are going to try to leave here this coming Tuesday. I have someone following me up to Ocala this Tuesday, where I will leave my car and he's bringing me back to my boat. I won't see my car again until Late May, early June.

Is there any prediction as to when your weather will get better Mary. You guys sure have had a rough go. Is your weather improving Gayle?

There was 3 of us sailing couples here, friends... Colin and Sue left Wed., Gary and Linda left today. We had big fun with them, now we have parted company. Hopefully, we'll meet again somewhere down the line. Looks like were going to leave this coming Tuesday, so much to do before then. We'll be anchoring a lot because so many marinas got wiped out by hurricane Ian and haven't been built back.

Getting here late. Very busy day, just ending. Provisioning the boat to be on anchors for awhile. Moving my car a few hours north of here tomorrow then back here. We have decided to try to depart Monday. No more marinas or car for awhile. We need to be in the Keys in 2 weeks, for a great deal on a luxury maina slip for a month
