"The Bucket List" (available on DVD) and "Mamma Mia!" (still at the Theatre). The former makes cry like a little girl with a skinned knee and the latter is just a feel-good Musical.

i actually haven't seen any new movies yet this year....but plan to go see the new x-files movie....and have to go see the keifer sutherland movie mirrors....

I want to see both of those! I haven't seen any of this year's movies, though. I'm going to have a lot of catching up to do!

I enjoyed the bucket list.
I watched it twice. It's got all this "poignant premise" but of course Nicholson can;t crutch out on that. Gots to add the funny.

2nd time around there's a lot of subtle humor that changes the aspect of the film, providing some double entendre lines. Only Nicholson can slip in the humor of "2 people dying of terminal cancer"

I would have to say any movie with Martin Lawrence in it.. I totally love him!!

Well I have to say I LOVED the new Batman. Heath Ledger was phenominal! Did I spell that right? LOL

I don't think this qualifies as this years movie, I think it may have come out in 2007. But INTO THE WILD was a stellar movie for me. Sad but it got me.
I have others but can't think atm. I'll post again when i do
