They sure are beautiful! My dream is to go to the Savannah grasslands, and actually see a serval living in its natural environment. I know I would cry and cry with such happiness! I have four servals of my own, servals that were born here in the United States, nurtured by me, so they have lost thier natural instinct to survive in the wild. They are pets, and not wild/dangerous felines. Like I said, they have lost that edge. That edge is taught by their parents in the wild, and we, as humans, can not teach them that part of survival. To say to ship them overseas to a land that they did not know existed, would only be doom for them, they would not know how to survive. That part of them is lost due to domestication by humans. But the domestication of the serval is a good thing! Do we have some serval owners here? Please share your experiences with your beloved pet!!!!
