I realise that most people here will know at least one of these sites, but I just thought I'd add the ones I click on. These are websites where you can click on a button and give other peoples money to charity! Most will accept only one click per day. I've got them in a bookmarked folder so I can just click on the folder and open all in tabs, then just run through all of them. Doesn't take long, and could make a big difference.

What is it with some people that they feel the need to make comments that could be misconstrued to mean something offensive? And then if someone calls them on it, say it wasn't meant that way, and if it's read that way, then it's not their fault? It's all a misunderstanding. If someone keeps writing things like that, it's clearly not a misunderstanding, they are doing it on purpose to try and evoke some kind of response.

Since Catman has expressed an interest in my work and course, I shall elaborate a little. :-)

I'm a zoology student. I'm classed as a mature student, because I came to university after the age of 21. I'm generally mature in name only. lol

My course covers a lot of genetics, microbiology, evolution, and behavioural studies. We actually get very little animal contact, which has disappointed a few of us, but we make the best of it. The idea is that what we get at the end of the course… Continue

This week is not a good week. For many and varied reasons but a couple in particular are bad.



I found out yesterday that one of the wolves I work with at the weekend had to be put to sleep. He's not been well for a while, and is old for a wolf, and over the weekend he deteriorated badly. By Wednesday he could hardly move, so the vet was called out and the hard decision had to be made. He passed away in his enclosure with his packmates around him, as he'd have wanted.

I have found the name of the artist that did the finger painting in the pictures I've got posted here. His name is Guido Daniele, and he paints people as well as hands. I googled his name and the pictures it came up with are amazing. Just the hand paintings take at least three hours, so painting a whole person must take ages!
