Hey brother.. Hope you had an awesome birthday. I'm one year behind you, but not looking too good on the retirement thing here. hahaha... That's okay though, I have my work down to 3 weeks out of every 5-6 weeks.
Still traveling though. But as long as I can keep making the drives, I'll keep working. Got a lot of mouths to feed here. ;)
The bad stuff has moved on, it's quite nice now :) A lot of cleaning up and a big muddy mess though. I have to repair a couple wooden shade roofs over enclosures. They were already broke, but now major damage. LOL.. Something to fill my "idle time" (which I don't seem to have). Let me know a good time to call
The horses in those photos on my page are all about 1 and a half years older now. I replaced those pics today with ones of my stray puppy that I took in and his big brother, Miles. Miles is teaching Tawny to be a big dog. LOL
Cows are funny critters. We had two steers that followed us around when me and my ex lived in MO. He couldn't find it in himself to slaughter them so he sold them at auction. Being a vegetarian I was glad he didn't do the deed in our barn.
We are snowed in again today. I am ready for Spring. I have told myself that I will make more of an effort to log in here more often. I get so busy and computer time is hard to find some days.
We need all the rain you have been getting. We got flooding rains. Here we are a couple of months later facing burn bans because all the grass is so dry. I am watching dark clouds rolling in now and keeping my fingers crossed for RAIN!
My Geronimo dog has been diagnosed with idiopathic anemia. He is on pills and had a blood transfusion. It has been all about him for the last week and a half. He is the best dog in the world. I know, we all say that. :)
