Loving the animal photos as always.

Did you find a lower cost parking spot for your car, Patrick? Nice to get rain, but good didn't last too long. Those trees are a great baby sitter for Mama bear, and they have fun climbing too.

Hope not too windy there anymore, Mandi. Rain some days here. Nice watering lawns. Cyoooot bear cubs dancing together.

Glad you have sunny weather, Mary. Ahh the lazy days for the red pandas.

Cool photo of mama and cub bears Ruth, Cool dancing cubs and red pandas.

We're going to get some rain, off and on, for the next few days. Cool things down. We have a lot to do so will probably get wet. Need to get photos for our passports, then we have an appointment Friday to turn in our applications. We'll need passports to get into the Bahamas this winter.

Hot here, lol. We went and had our passport photos taken today, tomorrow we meet with the passport agent and submit our applications. We'll need passports to get into the Bahamas. They make it hard (and expensive).

Going down to an appt with the passport official to submit our applications and a bunch of other stuff for attachments. Wish us luck, lol

Good afternoon ladies. Quite warm here today,, in the low 90's F. Bit of a breeze though, which helps.

Took longer than I thought, to get through the meeting with the passport agent. He was very nice though and was patient while we had to re-do one of the application pages. After it was all processed, he put everything together to mail it for us (it was at the local post office). It will be awhile before we get our papers back, we had to  send off our original birth certificates, they don't accept copies.

It will be even longer to get our actual passport cards. A lot of work just to leave the US for awhile. We didn't apply for the passport books, because we aren't planning any international overseas flights. The cards are good for Mexica, Canada, Bahamas and Bermuda. Years ago, you could go to those places with just a driver's license or some other valid ID. Times have changed I guess.
